Inside every sacred soul

Lies an enrapturing phoenix in repose

Her crumbling wings enfold upon themselves

Hiding from the world

The ashen bird sits just below the heart

Draping her languishing form atop your lowermost ribs

To rouse this phoenix is a quest

As mysterious as the creature it is for

The boldest actions taken in waking life

Where body and mind yield to rapid, rising change

And enchanting dreams take physical forms

Are that which wake the resting giant within

The acceptance of a grand adventure

Lets the heart leap forward

The phoenix will raise her head from beneath smoldering wings

Alerted by the high vibrations of your life force

She will yawn away old energies

Open maw releasing

Rays of impossible golden light

That streak through your solar plexus

Then, with effortless grace

She will launch herself upward, quick as lightning

Sprays of sparks crackling from her wingtips

New flames licking away disseminating feathers

As she ascends

A defiant twinkle glitters in her onyx eyes

Before you have time to second guess

She makes a beeline for your brain

From seeing the forest for the trees

To launching forward

Wings spread open

Toward dynamic seas

Your phoenix finds her sunny splendor

Within those beautiful tomorrows

Feed her well.
